Activity Day:
Families of home schoolers are invited to join Great River Christian School on Friday, March 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for their first Activity Day. Students will join our students for a variety of age appropriate activities. The theme is: science. Some of the activities include; 7th-12th grade: fetal pig dissection; 4th-6th Spelling Bee and leaf prints; 2-3rd Lewis and Clark and science discovery; K-1st Hands On Activity. S.O.F.T. at Wendy's
S.O.F.T., (Supporting Our Families & Troops), will be at Wendy’s on Wednesday,
Feb. 15th 5 to 8 pm. Wendy’s will donate a portion of their food sales proceeds during that time to SOFT.
Group members will be selling special flags to honor our troops; patriotic shirts, car magnets, the patriotic print "Determination",
jewelry, etc. Funds raised through SOFT
are used to support local troops & their families.

will be held on Sunday April 2, 2006 from noon-6pm in West Burlington, Iowa Please bring your family and join us for an afternoon of free arts, crafts, games, information & more. Over 40 booths will be set up throughout the mall where parents can access information about available community resources. The theme of the day is "Children under construction". April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and the week of April 2-8 is "Week of the Young Child" as designated by the National Associations for the Education of Young Children.
